For nearly eight years Douglas John worked as a Soccer Trainer for Pegasus Soccer Club in Deerfield, Illinois.  AKA "Coach Doug" built a solid reputation as a motivating and fun-loving national D-license soccer Trainer inspiring both girls and boys ages eight to fourteen.  Coach Doug also started offering personal soccer training to help players meet expectations. Working with children one-on-one and in small groups, his training style of both technical discipline and positive reinforcement proved to be the right balance for their maximum growth as soccer players.

The Club organizes teams based on their abilities to play together and as individual players.  Throughout the years I was happy to have been given teams that needed a little bit extra coaching.  As long as my players came to learn, I knew we would improve their performance. 

 

The kids that I was privileged to coach gave me their all.  And I am happy to share that their hard work, perseverance and drive to be their best on the field ultimately left a positive impact with them off the field."
